Hello and welcome! I’m Amy, and I am a fully qualified professional chaperone for children in performance, based on the Wirral in North West England. I am passionate about supporting young performers and ensuring their welfare, safety, and comfort every step of the way.

I am fully first aid trained, so I’m prepared to respond confidently and calmly in any health or safety situation that might arise during performances, rehearsals, or travel. Your child’s well-being is my absolute priority.

In addition, I have extensive experience working with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN). This background has given me a deep understanding of the unique needs and challenges some young performers may face. I am patient, adaptable, and committed to providing a supportive, nurturing environment where every child feels valued and safe.

I am also a qualified teaching assistant, which has equipped me with excellent skills in child supervision, communication, and behaviour management. These skills translate perfectly into my role as a chaperone, enabling me to build strong, trusting relationships with children and to advocate effectively for their needs.

On a personal note, I am a proud mama to three daughters, all of whom are keen performers. Thanks to them, I am well accustomed to the rhythms and demands of time spent on set, ‘in the wings,’ and navigating the performance world. This experience gives me a unique insight into the needs of young performers their families and the enviornments they work in. I fully understand the importance of having dependable, understanding care behind the scenes.

I aim to provide reassurance and calm so that they can focus on doing their best. Whether it’s managing breaks, helping with snacks and hydration, or simply being a friendly, steady presence, I am here to support every young performer, with their best interests as my sole priority.
